Dagmar Sands meets Cliff Burrows – Starbucks President

I am so happy that I was able to be at the Luxury Real Estate
conference this past week and met so many incredible people.
I learn so much from others and especially from speakers who
give great speeches.

The best speech was given by Cliff Burrows, the President of
Starbucks Coffee in U.S. This is a man who is committed to
ensuring that the Starbucks Experience is delivered to customers
and partners (employees), combining a passion for the best
quality coffee. The environment is an experience and Starbuck
wants you to have the best experience in their store. Cliff is truly
very inspiring. I loved his speech. He shared with us how they
took all of their employees down to New Orleans to give back to
the community and they all worked hard to over thousands of
hours to give back. He was so inspiring. I felt he was the kind
of person that didn’t mind rolling up his sleeves and he leads by
example. He is the kind of leader that we should all look up to.
Starbucks has grown under his leadership 1,350 stores across
24 countries. Since 1971 Starbucks Coffee has been committed
to ethically sourcing and roasting the highest quality arabica
coffee in the world. They bring unique Starbucks Experience to
life for every customer through every cup.

I think today’s owners need to hear a speech like this, they need
to inspire their own employees to be the BEST that they can BE.
This is something that I strive for in our company, Real Estate
International, Inc. I was happy to see the #1 store in Seattle
near Pike Street Market with singers outside singing a happy song.
